Summer schools

Summer Schools are an effort of the European Polymer Federation (EPF) to contribute to create a European standard in polymer science and technology (PST) teaching. The used model of Summer Schools was developed by several European national polymer groups to addressing relevant subjects in PST.
The immediate benefit for the attendants is an updated tutorial rationalization of the selected PST topics, made by lecturers well experienced both in the topic and in teaching. Moreover, it is by now an established practice that the educational approach jointly developed for the event by top level European scientists and teachers is made available to all students and teachers worldwide in english language through a series of books edited from the lectures of the School.
Through this initiative EPF fulfills once more its mission to make national achievements available Europe-wide as a further step in the direction of european integration."
